Description
Rat Astrocytes-adult from Glow Biologics are isolated from adult CD® IGS rat brain. RA-a are cryopreserved after purification and delivered frozen. RA-a are characterized by immunofluorescence with antibody specific to GFAP. RA-a are negative for mycoplasma, bacteria, yeast, and fungi. RA-a are guaranteed to further expand for 5 population doublings under the conditions provided by Glow Biologics.
Suggested Medium
It is recommended to use Astrocyte Medium-animal for culturing RA-a in vitro.
Shippment
Frozen primary cells are shipped on dry ice.
Storage
On receipt, immediately transfer the frozen primary cells to liquid nitrogen (-180 °C)
