Description
Human Splenic Endothelial Cells (HSEC) from Glow Biologics are isolated from human spleen. HSEC are cryopreserved at passage one and delivered frozen. HSEC are characterized by immunofluorescence with antibodies specific to CD31 (PECAM) and vWF/Factor VIII. HSEC are guaranteed to further expand for 15 population doublings under the conditions provided by Glow Biologics.
Suggested Medium
It is recommended to use Endothelial Cell Medium for culturing HSEC in vitro.
Quality Control
Human Splenic Endothelial Cells are negative for HIV-1, HBV, HCV, mycoplasma, bacteria, yeast and fungi.
Storage
On receipt, immediately transfer the frozen cells to liquid nitrogen (-180 °C)
