Description
Human Prostate Microvascular Endothelial Cells (HPrMEC) from Glow Biologics are isolated from human prostate tissue. HPrMEC are cryopreserved at passage one and delivered frozen. HPrMEC are characterized by immunofluorescence with antibodies specific to CD31 (PECAM) and vWF/Factor VIII. HPrMEC are guaranteed to further expand for 10 population doublings under the conditions provided by Glow Biologics.
Suggested Medium
It is recommended to use Endothelial Cell Medium for culturing HPrMEC in vitro.

Human Prostate Microvascular Endothelial Cells are negative for HIV-1, HBV, HCV, mycoplasma, bacteria, yeast and fungi.
Storage
On receipt, immediately transfer the frozen cells to liquid nitrogen (-180 °C)
