Description
Human Mammary Vascular Endothelial Cells (HMVEC) from Glow Biologics are isolated from human breast. HMVEC are cryopreserved after purification and delivered frozen. HMVEC are characterized by immunofluorescence with antibodies specific to CD31 (PECAM) and vWF/Factor VIII, and by uptake of DiI-Ac-LDL. HMVEC are guaranteed to further expand for 10 population doublings under the conditions provided by Glow Biologics.
Suggested Medium
It is recommended to use Endothelial Cell Medium for culturing HMVEC in vitro.

Human Mammary Vascular Endothelial Cells are negative for HIV-1, HBV, HCV, mycoplasma, bacteria, yeast and fungi.
Storage
On receipt, immediately transfer the frozen cells to liquid nitrogen (-180 °C)
