Description
Human Dural Microvascular Endothelial Cells (HDuMEC) from Glow Biologics are isolated from human dura mater. HDuMEC are cryopreserved at passage one and delivered frozen. Each vial contains >5 x 10⁵cells in 1 ml volume. HDuMEC are characterized by immunofluorescence with antibodies specific to vWF/Factor VIII and/or CD31 (PECAM). HDuMEC are guaranteed to further expand for 5 population doublings under the conditions provided by Glow Biologics.
Suggested Medium
It is recommended to use Endothelial Cell Medium for culturing HDuMEC in vitro.
Quality Control
Human Dural Microvascular Endothelial Cells are negative for HIV-1, HBV, HCV, mycoplasma, bacteria, yeast and fungi.
Storage
On receipt, immediately transfer the frozen cells to liquid nitrogen (-180 °C)
