Description
Human Dermal Microvascular Endothelial Cells-adult (HDMEC-a) from Glow Biologics are isolated from human skin. HDMEC-a are cryopreserved at passage one and delivered frozen. HDMEC-a are characterized by immunofluorescence with antibodies specific to CD31 (PECAM) and vWF/Factor VIII. HDMEC-a are guaranteed to further expand for 15 population doublings under the conditions provided by Glow Biologics.
Suggested Medium
It is recommended to use Endothelial Cell Medium for culturing HDMEC-a in vitro.

Human Dermal Microvascular Endothelial Cells-adult are negative for HIV-1, HBV, HCV, mycoplasma, bacteria, yeast and fungi.
Storage
On receipt, immediately transfer the frozen cells to liquid nitrogen (-180 °C)
