Description
A subclone derived from Fao which is deficient in HGPRT (resistant to 5µg/ml 6-thioguanine and also resistant to 3mM ouabain). FGC4 contains the alb-gpt plasmid which is the bacterial gpt gene under control of the rat albumin promoter (400 bp). Produces albumin and ß-fibrinogen. GMO1.

Coon's modified Ham's F12 (or Kaign's modified Ham's F12 + 45mg/L ascorbic acid + 18mg/L Inositol) + 2mM Glutamine + 5% Foetal Bovine Serum (FBS).
Quality Control
FGC4 Cell Line was tested and found to be free of mycoplasma, bacterial, viruses, and other toxins. All cells were above 95% viability before freezing.

FGC4 Cell Line will be shipped using dry ice.
