Description
Established from the lung tissue of a 2.5 month old female with cerebral anoxia, cardiac anomaly, sepsis, endocardial cushion defect and foetal alcoholic syndrome. The cells can undergo up to 19 population doublings. CCD 18Lu and CCD-18Co were derived from the lung and colon respectively from the same patient; Ethnicity Black.

Quality Control
CCD 18Lu Cell Line was tested and found to be free of mycoplasma, bacterial, viruses, and other toxins. All cells were above 95% viability before freezing.

CCD 18Lu Cell Line will be shipped using dry ice.
